“人文日新,从青年起;青年日新,从晨读起。” 为积极响应学校学风建设的号召,提高学生专业素质和丰富学生文化生活,英语学院坚持延续早自习晨读,并结合外语专业的学习特点,以学风建设为主线,以语言学习的习惯养成为目的,在晨读中引导学生迅速适应专业学习要求。

春花、秋月、夏日、冬雪,众多英院莘莘学子在晨读中度过充实的大学时光。如今,在学院的倡导和同学们的积极参与下,早自习晨读现已成为英语学院学风建设特色活动之一。“一年之计在于春,一日之计在于晨”,于太阳升起之际出发、于教学楼内认真晨读,就此开启充实的一天。同学们通常在早自习上朗读英文,在朗读中培养语感,提升口语。同时,学院为2019级和2020级每班配备一名研究生助教,辅导同学们学习,为同学们答疑解惑。
