II 逐日(A Sun Chase)

When forty winters shall besiege thy brow,

While the flames of eternity burn as still.

What stone slung could be mighty enough,

Wrinkling just a flake of snow upon his Corona.

III An Ode to the Giant

Thou still unbreakable warrior of braveness,

Thou rushing child of silence and slow time.

In the distant valley, on the peak of cavernous mountains,

Where our father’s light blazed, thy strides advanced.

A stone in rage? Or a stone in vain.

Should the Prince be praised as a crown slayer?

Should a Tyrant spare a slice of mercy with his death?
