Lindy suddenly woke up from her dream. She stretched and found that it was almost noon.

"What a sweet sleep!" said Lindy. "But why do I always feel strange?" Although she said that, she still went to wash up.

This was a very magical village. The older people could use their magic to make the village better. There was no modern science and technology, no advanced technology and equipment, and the villagers lived simply and happily by fishing.

Lindy had just finished washing up and was preparing to help her parents do housework when she saw a person she had never seen before.

"This person is really strange. Why does she wear different clothes from those of our village?" Lindy murmured.

"Hello, who are you? What are you doing here?" Lindy waved to the girl and asked.

When she saw Lindy, the strange person rushed over as if she had seen the savior.

"Lindy, I finally found you. By the way, do you know where this is? Do you know how to get back from here?" The strange girl asked excitedly, grasping Lindy's hand tightly.

But what Lindy didn't think of was that this strange person seemed more confused than she. "You don't know me? Do you really don't know me?"

So this strange girl began to tell Lindy something that sounded extremely absurd: it turned out that this strange person was Amber, who came from the real world and was Lindy's best friend in the real world. In the real world, some people were missing, and this situation had been going on for a long time. Lindy had also disappeared a few days ago, so Amber and many others had gone to find her. But in the process of searching, Amber suddenly fell down. When she stood up, she found herself in this small village and then found Lindy by accident.

After Amber finished speaking, Lindy was full of doubts. She didn't believe what Amber said, so she proposed to find the most respected old man in the village to solve this problem. So Amber had to follow Lindy to find the old man.

After hearing all this, the old man sighed helplessly, "I can tell you, but the choice depends on your own decision." The old man said earnestly. "This is a magical village. Only selected people can come here. It can help you create a family in your dreams. There is a channel near the pier of the village connecting the real world, but this channel can only be entered and is not an exit. This means that you can come from the real world, but you can't go back to the real world at will. If you want to go back, you need to go to the castle outside the village. There lives an evil magician who knows the way back to the real world. But he is not a good man, and no one dares to provoke him: otherwise, they will have bad luck. "

Lindy felt silent after listening, because it completely subverted her cognition. Her memory told her that she has lived here since she was a child. Every day here made her very happy.

But Amber was in a totally different state. She was very happy. She excitedly held Lindy's hand and said, "What are you waiting for? Let's go. Let's go to find the magician and go home together!"

"But I think of this as my home. I’m here. I don't want to leave," Lindy shook Amber's hand and said.

"This is not your home. The real world is your home. Do you know how worried your family are about you? You should go back as soon as possible!" Amber argued.

"But this village also has my family! If I leave, won't they miss me?" Lindy asked.

Amber didn't know what to say, so she had to say, "Since you won't go, I'll go myself!" Then she turned and left.

Lindy went home in anger without saying anything.

When she got home, Lindy lay in bed and thought about what had happened today. It was so magical. Strange Amber, magical village, magician, all this was so absurd! It must be a dream, so Lindy decided to sleep for a while. Maybe it would be better when she woke up, so she gradually fell asleep.

Suddenly, Lindy woke up because she dreamed that Amber was in danger, and the evil magician was going to kill Amber. Although Lindy didn't like Amber very much now, she couldn't turn her back on her, so Lindy ran quickly to the old castle.

As soon as she opened the castle door, Lindy did not see the terrible scene in her dream. On the contrary, the evil magician inside was chatting happily with Amber.

"What happened, Amber? Are you okay?" Lindy asked doubtfully.

"Great, Lindy, come here and sit down." Amber waved to Lindy and said with a smile.

So Lindy sat beside Amber slowly. She looked up at the "bad guy" magician sitting opposite and found that he was wearing a black suit, a black robe, and an elegant high hat, with a smile on his face. He was a handsome young man, not at all as terrible as the old man had said.

"How did the villagers describe me to you, saying I was ugly or bad?" The magician smiled and said.

Lindy didn't know what to say, so she smiled at the magician awkwardly and turned to look at Amber beside her.

Amber explained, "Yes, the man you see is the evil magician that the old man spoke of, but in fact, the villagers misunderstand him. That's not the case at all. He is a good man, a good man."

"Yes!" said the magician "I am the manager of this village. I will give a small amount of magic to the kind-hearted and enterprising people, hoping that they can live a better life with magic. But there are always people who are not satisfied and want to get more magic to satisfy their own selfish desires. Therefore, I will punish these people, but unfortunately, once that was seen by others, they went to the village and talked nonsense, saying that I am a devil. As time has gone by, fewer and fewer people have come me. I wanted to explain but they didn't listen and threw eggs at me! Later, I gradually gave up. Let them talk, I don’t care. "

"But don't you feel lonely?" Lindy asked.

"How can I be lonely? I'm a magician who can do magic. I perform many magic spells. Do you want to see it? Let me show you." With these words, the magician began to perform.

"Don't try to be brave," Amber looked at the magician and said, "As soon as I came, you ask me to watch your performance and talked to me all the time. You will be bored. Why don't you admit it?"

The magician was silent. He looked very sad. It seemed Amber was right. The magician was just pretending to be strong.

"All right, let's get down to business. Let's go to the villagers to help you solve this misunderstanding, and you will help us return to the real world. Is it all right?" Amber stood up from the ground and looked at the magician.

"But will the villagers really believe it? They never listen to my explanation," The magician replied sadly.

"Lindy is here. She is also a villager in the village. Everyone will believe her," Amber said confidently.

"But I don't know what to do. If I return to the real world, what should my parents do in the village? Won't they miss me?" Lindy said.

"Don't worry about it. Because this is a magic village. your parents exist because of you. This village can create the family members you want, which means that if you leave, those parents will disappear. They won't feel sad about your leaving because they will disappear from this village after you leave, as if they had never existed. This is the magic of this village, " The magician explained.

"So, come with me. Your parents are waiting for you in the real world." Amber patted Lindy on the shoulder.

"OK, let's go back together." Lindy finally made up her mind.

So, Lindy and Amber led the magician back to the village and explained everything to the villagers in detail. The villagers felt very sorry after hearing this and solemnly apologized to the magician.

After finishing everything, the magician led Lindy and Amber to the seaside.

"Jump down and you will see a whale. It will help you return to the real world. By the way, I have a gift for you. Thank you for helping me explain all this to the villagers. I wish you good luck. If it is fated, we will meet again." The magician smiled and said goodbye to them.

Lindy and Amber took the gift from the magician, turned around, and jumped off the boat. They sank bit by bit, and then they saw the whale.

Lindy suddenly woke up from her bed. She looked around. It was really the real world. "Did I have a dream just now? It's too real." Lindy wiped the sweat from her face and thought quietly.

Suddenly, Lindy found that she was holding something in her hand, which was the gift from the magician!
