My world before you came was boring and simple

No novel values would come and no precious points could go

But then knowing you, the sky filled with purple

Because you have been my hero

Look there! The sun is smiling and the stars, too

Beside the sparkling water may be you

Why am I so attracted to you?

I don't know

There must be one day you will leave

Maybe all things you’ve given me will be taken away

My world will resume to be less active

But I have had energy to follow the way

Yet maybe you are not mine

But I am still waiting for you, all the time

A Sonnet for Candidates for CEE

Shall I compare you to a piece of cloud?

You are like it, but stronger.

Try to move again and again, you are trapped in a crowd.

Higher and higher mountains there are, you run faster and faster.

But it all seems in vain.

Rough winds make you shiver in May.

Closer and closer to the appointed day.

You can not see the future through the ray.

Like a cloud that blows away, pray you do.

Years of struggle, God gives you clues.

The answer is shining.

Excited, you are crying.

So long as you can hold on for one thing all the time.

So long lives this, the top you can climb.
